Baggage Check :
1 Time Checked baggage is limited to 20 kg, plus one piece of hand luggage, which is limited to 5 kg. The hand luggage must fit into the aircraft overhead bins.
Excess baggage is charged at R 25 per additional kilogram carried. This cost may vary from airport to airport and for flights outside of the Republic of South Africa.
Pets :
Animals may not be carried as checked baggage nor onboard the aircraft.
Lost and Damaged Baggage :
Lost or delayed baggage must be reported immediately on arrival at the destination airport. 1 Time will not accept liability for losses or damages to valuable items or to the baggage itself. No compensation will be paid for delayed baggage
Bicycles :
You can take a bicycle with if it is not during the Cape Argus Cycle Tour. However, you must disassemble and pack it in a hard or soft case. You are also required to check-in no later than 90 minutes prior to departure.
During the Cape Argus Cycle Tour there are specific arrangements:
• Bicycle seat must be put down
• Handle bars turned parallel with frame
• Leave front wheel attached
• Pedals removed or turned inward
• Tyres must be deflated
• All electronic equipment must be removed
• Bicycle bag or box needs to be used
1 Time Checking In :
1 Time checking-in procedures are convenient and hassle free. Travellers have the option of check-in at the counter or online check-in. 1 Time recommends travellers check in 90 minutes before departure.
Check-in at the counter
1 Time operates a ticketless check-in. You need proof of identity and your unique booking reference number to check in for your flight.
Check in desks open 2 hours before scheduled departure time and close 30 minutes prior to departure for domestic flights. Check in desks close 45 minutes before departure for regional flights.
Online check-in :
Avoid long queues and check in online. The cut-off time for online check-in is 3 hours prior to scheduled departure. This service is available for passengers travelling with hand luggage only.
Travellers will need a printed copy of your eCheck-in confirmation. You will collect your boarding pass from the designated eCheck-in collection desks. This needs to be done at least 30 minutes prior to departure.
Seating :
1 Time seats provide possibly the best legroom for an economy class product on the South African Domestic market. The MD82 and MD83 have 157 seats and the MD87 has 132. Cabins have been designed with comfort and convenience in mind.
Parents travelling with children or elderly persons are advised to not sit on the seats with 'exit' marked on the headrest.
Flying with Infants :
Infants under 2 years old fly for free. They must sit on an adults lap for the duration of the flight. Each adult may only have one infant on their lap. Children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult aged 16 years or older.
In-flight Entertainment :
1 Times’ in-flight magazine, abouTime, is a fun lifestyle magazine that covers a wide range of interests. Magazines are free for you to enjoy.
Onboard Menu :
Travellers are invited to purchase food and beverages onboard. There is a wide selection of economically priced meals, snacks and beverages. Beverages range from tea and coffee to soft drinks and alcoholic beverages.

Premier lounge access purchased through 1 time Airline is for access at the departing airport only. Premier lounge access can be purchased online for all domestic airports except East London.

1 Time Airlines :
1 Time passengers can receive their itineraries on their cell phones; pre-purchase catering vouchers for their flight and even earn discounts when paying with Blue bean, MTN and Jet/Edgars credit cards.
1 Time aims to continually improve on their product in every facet possible, and to ensure that passengers have an effortless flying experience.
1 Time special baggage items include bicycles, fishing gear, surfboards, and instruments. Special baggage items can only be carried if there is space. These items do not have a special rate, but rather form part of your 20 kilogram baggage allowance. Any excess weight will be charged for at the airport at R25 per kilo.
If you do have special baggage, you are required to check-in no later than 90 minutes prior to departure.

There is a dedicated counter for bag drop offs at the airport. It is situated near the check-in counters. It is called the 'fast bag drop off' zone.
